Okay , I know this is way way overdue , (my bad) but regardless…. The Ebeye Basketball Camp was off the chain, the kids had the experience of a life time. There was Pizza, GATORADE, 27 Basketballs to give away,  50 T-Shirts,  50 Camp bands, Basketball Cards from PANINI (the best trading card company ever) and not to mention, BRAND NEW back boards I donated.  More importantly all this was free. We only had staffing for 50 kids but nearly 300 kids showed up.  The beautiful thing was that the kids that didn’t get picked to participate sat around the court and cheered their friends on. WOW… not one hater, that’s unheard of now a days!

Another thing that was a trip to see.  Most of  the campers didn’t have shoes,so they would share/switch shoes for the stations which required  more running. For example, one of the stations was focused on  “Peer Pressure”,  so all those kids were barefoot so that the ball handling station had shoes (for the most part anyway). The next camp is going to be in Majuro, which is the capitol of the Marshall Islands.  We’re also putting together a Ball All Day Long Shootout in Miami, Florida in late spring this year…. Ball All Day Long,  Leeee Gooo!!
